Departments of Pharmacognosy

Pharmacognosy Laboratory Deals with the Natural & Herbal Medicinal product Research. The Lab provides adequate facilities for morphological & microscopical studies of Natural plants. The Lab also provides an great opportunity for the students to gain the knowledge of identification, extraction, isolation, detection, determination & estimation of natural products. The laboratory is equipped with sophisticated instruments & Apparatus for quantitative & qualitative analysis of drugs & phytoconstituents extracted from medicinal plants. Pharmacognosy has undergone significant changes in recent years and today it is one of the major areas of pharmaceutical education & research.
